RULES AND REGULATIONS
a) The names of all Thomson Tour members will be entered into each draw,
unless tournament administrator has been informed before hand.
If you cannot play it will be your responsibility to inform the tournament administrator and withdraw by 6 p.m. on the Friday preceding the tournament (on the Monday)
Failure to inform of withdrawal by the allocated time will result in a £35 fine and this fine will be automatically deducted from any future winnings of the player.
If you have any doubts as to whether you have pulled out or receive a start sheet with your name on it please leave message again or send text, or e-mail.
b) Any competitor who fails to show for allocated tee time will be fined £40 and this fine will be automatically deducted from any future winnings by the player.
c) Slow play (loss of one hole or more on the match ahead) may result in a two (2) stroke penalty
d) If the draw has not arrived by the Wednesday preceding the tournament please telephone for your start time. Claiming no starting sheet arrived will not excuse non-appearance and fine will be imposed.
e) Sixty players maximum in each tournament. Those who register first will have priority in each draw once the membership passes sixty. If however you are registered in the first sixty but do not play on a regular basis, your priority to play may drop.
f) Members who wish to play in the Championship must compete in a minimum of FIVE events leading up to the championship.
g) The Tournament Director reserves the right to alter or amend the Rules and Regulations in the interest and the future well being of the Thomson Tour.
h) I do expect to top five to stay for prize giving as often the Captain is there and it is a way to thank the club for allowing us to play
Verulam is a mature course renowned for its small, fast and undulating greens. The course is tight and sets a premium on accuracy and shot control.
